Impact Sports Coaching's Aims & Objectives

The aim of Impact Sports Coaching is to ensure that coaches and those booking a coach provide the very best quality sporting experience for every participant and performer.

Impact will work with coaches and their clients to achieve this aim through the introduction of a quality assured system which uses trained personel and an online portal to provide a single point of contact for prospective and practising coaches and for those organisations searching for the services of a quality coach.

As part of achieving this aim Impact has a number of objectives which include:

1. encouraging those that previously did not think they could have a career in coaching to pursue coaching as a vocation.
2. matching coaches with coaching opportunities
3. setting an industry standard for all coaches to aspire to in terms of the level of qualification required to practise and their level of expertise
4. establishing quality coaching as the norm.
5. increasing the number and availability of qualified coaches at all levels
6. establishing coaching as a profession, recognising volunteer, part time and full time roles
7. improving performances and the enjoyment of sport
